🎯 1. Organiser and Promotion Details

1.1 The Organiser

The Promotion is organised by Time and Life Limited, the operator of Daniel’s Mall, Hamrun, Malta.

1.2 Promotion Period

• Start Date: Monday, June 1st
• End Date: Monday, August 31st at 12:00 PM (Noon)
• No entries based on receipts issued before the Start Date or after the End Date of the respective monthly draws will be valid.

1.3 Prizes

The Promotion features a total prize pool of €3,000 in cash, distributed over three monthly draws. For each draw, a total of €1,000 in cash will be won as follows:

Prizes are non-transferable. The Organiser reserves the right to substitute the Prize with an alternative of equal or greater value if necessary.

🎟️ 2. Entry and Qualification

2.1 Qualification Criteria

• Customers (the “Participants”) can enter the draw by using physical receipts from any retail outlet within the Daniel’s Mall complex.
• To be considered valid, a receipt must have a minimum value of €5. Receipts with a value of less than €5 will not be considered valid.
• Receipts must be dated within the specific timeframe for each corresponding monthly draw (see Section 4.1). Receipts outside the mentioned timeframes are not valid.

2.2 Entry Method

• To participate, the Participant must fully and legibly write their full name, ID number, and contact number on the back of the original physical receipt.
• The completed receipt must then be deposited into the secured urn (the “Urn”).
• Any receipt that is incomplete, illegible, defaced, altered, or does not contain all the mandatory information will be deemed void and disqualified.

2.3 Urn Location and Security

• Urn Location: Ground floor of Daniel’s Mall complex.
• Security: The Urn will be secured and monitored by 24-hour CCTV surveillance throughout the entire Promotion Period to ensure the integrity of the entries.

👤 3. Eligibility and Disqualification

3.1 Age Restriction

• Participation is strictly limited to individuals who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry.
• Any person under the age of eighteen (18) found to have entered will be disqualified, and any potential prize will be forfeited.

3.2 Ineligibility

The following persons are ineligible to participate in the Promotion:

• All employees of Time and Life Limited, including all staff working within the Daniel’s Mall complex.
• All employees of all tenants operating retail outlets or services within the Daniel’s Mall complex.

3.3 Disqualification for Fraudulent Entry

• Any participant found to have submitted counterfeit, copied, or fraudulently obtained receipts will be immediately disqualified from the Promotion, and the Organiser reserves the right to take legal action if necessary. Only original receipts issued by retailers within Daniel’s Mall will be considered valid entries.

3.4 Compliance

• The Organiser reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any Participant and to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Terms.

🎰 4. Draw Procedure

4.1 Draw Details and Validity Periods

All receipts are securely stored in the transparent Urn located on the Ground floor. There will be three separate draws during the Summer Campaign. All draws will take place at Daniel’s Mall, Hamrun.

Note: After each draw, the Urn will be emptied to ensure only receipts valid for the new current month are entered for the subsequent draw.

4.2 Publicity

• The draws will be conducted as small public events, and all customers and the general public are welcome to attend.
• The draws will be broadcast live simultaneously on the Organiser’s official social media channels.
• The selection of the winners will be overseen by an MGA Inspector to ensure fairness and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

4.3 Winner Notification

• The winners will be notified immediately following the draw via the contact number provided on the back of the winning receipt. Attempts to contact the winners will be made within three (3) working days.

🏆 5. Prize Collection and Forfeiture

5.1 Prize Collection Deadline

• The winners must officially claim and collect their cash prize within three (3) calendar months of their respective Draw Date. Valid identification matching the details on the winning receipt must be presented.

5.2 Forfeiture

• Failure to collect the Prize within three (3) months of the draw date will result in the winner automatically forfeiting all rights to the Prize.
• In such an event, the Organiser reserves the right to select an alternative winner in a new draw or use the Prize for another promotional activity, in accordance with the approval of the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).

5.3 Public Use of Name

• By accepting the Prize, the winner consents to the use of their full name, likeness, and photograph for any and all promotional and publicity purposes by the Organiser and the Mall without further compensation, for a period of up to one (1) year.

🔒 6. Data Protection and Privacy

6.1 Mandatory Receipt Information

The following mandatory personal details must be written on the back of every entry receipt:

• Full Name
• ID Number
• Contact Number

6.2 Data Usage

• The personal data collected is necessary for the proper administration of the Promotion, including contacting the winner and verifying eligibility.
• This data will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act (Cap. 586) and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
• All non-winning receipts and associated personal data will be destroyed/deleted within a reasonable timeframe following the Prize Collection Deadlines, unless otherwise required by law or a regulatory body.

⚖️ 7. Legal Compliance and Regulatory Framework

7.1 Regulatory Framework and Permit

• This Promotion is approved by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) and is subject to the relevant laws and regulations governing lotteries and promotional schemes in Malta.
• The Organiser confirms that all necessary permits and approvals from the MGA or relevant regulatory bodies have been obtained for this promotional scheme.

⚠️ General Conditions

• The Organiser’s decision in all matters relating to the Promotion is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
• The Organiser shall not be liable for any failure to perform, or delay in performing, its obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
