1. 🎯 Organiser and Promotion Details

1.1 The Organiser

The Promotion is organised by Time and Life Limited, the operator of Daniel’s Mall, Hamrun, Malta.

1.2 Promotion Period

  • Start Date: Friday, November 28, 2025 (Black Friday) at 9:00 AM CET.
  • End Date: Friday, January 30, 2026, at 8:00 PM CET.
  • No entries received before the Start Date or after the End Date will be valid.

1.3 Prize

The sole prize for the Promotion is a brand new Audi A1 (the “Prize”). The Prize is non-transferable and no cash or other substitution will be offered. The Organiser reserves the right to substitute the Prize with an alternative of equal or greater value if necessary.

  1. 🎟️ Entry and Qualification

2.1 Qualification Criteria

  • Customers (the “Participants”) will receive one (1) entry ticket for every €10 spent in a single transaction at any retail outlet within Daniel’s Mall complex during the Promotion Period.
  • Proof of purchase (valid receipt(s) showing the date, time, and purchase value) must be presented to collect the ticket(s). The Organiser reserves the right to request proof of purchase for the winning ticket.

2.2 Entry Method

  • To enter the Promotion, the Participant must fully and legibly complete the required personal details on the ticket.
  • The completed ticket must then be deposited into the secured urn (the “Urn”).
  • Any ticket that is incomplete, illegible, defaced, or does not contain all the mandatory information specified in Section 5 will be deemed void and disqualified.

2.3 Urn Location and Security

  • Urn Location: Level 2 of Daniel’s Mall complex.
  • Security: The Urn will be secured and monitored by 24-hour CCTV surveillance throughout the entire Promotion Period to ensure the integrity of the entries.
  1. 👤 Eligibility and Disqualification

3.1 Age Restriction

  • Participation is strictly limited to individuals who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry.
  • Any person under the age of eighteen (18) found to have entered will be disqualified, and any potential prize will be forfeited.

3.2 Ineligibility

The following persons are ineligible to participate in the Promotion:

  • All employees of Time and Life Limited, including all staff working within the Daniel’s Mall complex.
  • All employees of all tenants operating retail outlets or services within the Daniel’s Mall complex.

3.3 Disqualification for Fraudulent Entry

  • Any participant found to have submitted counterfeit, copied, or fraudulently obtained tickets will be immediately disqualified from the Promotion, and the Organiser reserves the right to take legal action if necessary. Only original, sequentially numbered tickets issued by the Organiser will be considered valid entries.

3.4 Compliance

  • The Organiser reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any Participant and to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Terms.
  1. 🎰 Draw Procedure

4.1 Draw Details

  • Draw Date & Time: Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 11:00 AM CET.
  • Location: Daniel’s Mall, Hamrun.

4.2 Publicity

  • The draw will be conducted as a small public event, and all customers and the general public are welcome to attend.
  • The draw will be broadcast live simultaneously on the Organiser’s official social media channels.
  • The selection of the winner will be overseen by an MGA Inspector to ensure fairness and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

4.3 Winner Notification

The winner will be notified immediately following the draw by the contact number provided on the winning ticket. Attempts to contact the winner will be made within three (3) working days.

  1. 🏆 Prize Collection and Forfeiture

5.1 Prize Collection Deadline

The winner must officially claim and collect the Prize (the new Audi A1) within three (3) calendar months of the Draw Date.

  • Final Collection Date: April 30, 2026.

5.3 Prize Acceptance and Associated Costs

The winner shall be responsible for all costs associated with registering the vehicle and making it road-legal. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Road Licence Fee: All applicable annual road tax/licence fees.
  • Vehicle Insurance: Arranging and paying for the mandatory motor vehicle insurance.
  • Taxes and Duties: Any applicable taxes, duties, or registration fees required to put the vehicle on the road in Malta.

5.4 Forfeiture

Failure to collect the Prize by the Final Collection Date of April 30, 2026, will result in the winner automatically forfeiting all rights to the Prize.

  • In such an event, the Organiser reserves the right to select an alternative winner in a new draw or use the Prize for another promotional activity, in accordance with the approval of the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).

 

5.5 Public Use of Name

  • By accepting the Prize, the winner consents to the use of their full name, likeness, and photograph for any and all promotional and publicity purposes by the Organiser and the Mall without further compensation, for a period of up to one (1) year.

6.1 Mandatory Ticket Information

The following mandatory personal details must be provided on every entry ticket:

  • Full Name
  • Surname
  • Address
  • ID Number/Passport Number
  • Contact Number

6.2 Data Usage

  • The personal data collected is necessary for the proper administration of the Promotion, including contacting the winner and verifying eligibility.
  • This data will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act (Cap. 586) and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
  • All non-winning tickets and associated personal data will be destroyed/deleted within a reasonable timeframe following the Prize Collection Deadline, unless otherwise required by law or regulatory body.
  1. ⚖️ Legal Compliance and Regulatory Framework

7.1 Regulatory Framework and Permit

  • This Promotion is approved by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) and is subject to the relevant laws and regulations governing lotteries and promotional schemes in Malta.
  • The Organiser confirms that all necessary permits and approvals from the MGA or relevant regulatory bodies have been obtained for this high-value promotional scheme.

  1. ⚠️ General Conditions
  • The Organiser’s decision in all matters relating to the Promotion is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • The Organiser shall not be liable for any failure to perform, or delay in performing, its obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
